Chimborazo Tours takes you to the secondary jungle of Puyo and Baños de Agua Santa, wonderful destinations to share with family, friends and an adventurous couple. During the tour to BAÑOS, you will visit the tree house, the swing at the end of the world, different waterfalls, including the Manto de la novia and the Pailón del Diablo, in Puyo we will discover the charms of the secondary jungle and cultural traditions of the Cotococha community.

We invite you to visit the Baños de Agua Santa,  the gateway to the Amazon basin. An ideal place to practice extreme sports and  pure adrenaline.

DETAILS

Day 1

07:00: Departing from the city of Riobamba, we pick you up from the hotel where you are staying. We take the Riobamba - Baños road.

10:30: We visit the Cotochoa community where we will share their culture, way of life, crafts and music.

11:30: We take a canoe ride through the Pastaza River, on this tour you can observe wild flora and fauna.

12:30: A delicious traditional lunch awaits us.

14:00: The interpretive tour begins through the secondary jungle to the Hola Vida waterfall, in this place you can take a natural, energetic and relaxing bath.

15:30 Cocoa-based chocolate processing experience.

16:30: We will visit one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Amazon, the Indichuri viewpoint, which has an impressive sunset.

20:30: We arrive in the city of Baños for accommodation.

Day 2

8:00: The adventure continues on the waterfall route where you can observe and take impressive photographs with the El Agoyán waterfall, the Manto de la Novia waterfall where we will also take a tour of the Tarabita.

09:00: Time to do extreme sports like Cannoping and more.

10:00  We visited a factory where they make traditional sweets from Baños, in this place we will learn about the process for preparing the different types of sweets, which you can also purchase in the factory store. 

10:30: In the Rio Verde sector we will hike along the long route until we reach the Pailon del Diablo waterfall, one of the most impressive attractions in Ecuador.

12:30 Lunch on the way to the tree house.

14:30: We visited the famous swing at the end of the world, along the way you can do extreme sports such as the flying adventure swing, considered among the largest in Ecuador.

 16:00: Return to the city of Riobamba where our services ends.

WHAT TO BRING?
  • Comfortable walking shoes.
  • Clothing for bathing in the Hola Vida waterfall, clothing for getting wet in the Pailón del Diablo waterfall.
  • For the waterfall route, you need caps, glasses, repellents, sunscreen, and a light bag to carry a change of clothes and small objects.
  • Bring a change of clothes.
  • Optional you can bring a rain poncho.
