Cycling in Chimborazo is one of the activities with more adrenaline for adventurers and full enjoyment for those who want to relax outdoors. It is a journey of approximately 17 km, which begins with the descent by bicycle from the Carrel Brothers Refuge located at 4800 m.a.s.l. passing through impressive landscapes of the dry moor, until reaching the sector known as the mine located at 4000 m altitude.

During the tour the visitor can observe vicuñas, South American camelids perfectly adapted to the paramo climate, as well as some bird species such as the curiquingue and the Chimborazo star hummingbird, a species endemic to Ecuador.

The route goes through the chaquiñanes and breathtaking views of the snow-capped Chimborazo; in short, cycling in Chimborazo is to breathe, to live and to meet with nature.
